Most people don't realise that I'm a puppeteer. Steve is so good - I tend to leave the 'puppeting' to him and I stick to the story telling (Which I love!) ....but, I taught him all the basics and he took it on from there - becoming better than his tutor!

I've always resisted filming myself for YouTube... or podcasting. It flusters me, and when others film me it doesn't come out well.

But with our current situation, I've had to move with the times.....
Writing is my thing, I find it comfortable to express myself in that...

I’m doing a lot of thinking - but have too many thoughts to process at the moment!

So this blog is partly me processing those thoughts, and partly seeing what other people think too…

My thoughts separate into two areas, and both come out of the Faithfull Generation proje...

This last weekend saw the launch of 'Faithfull Generation' at the Hand in Hand conference in Eastbourne. The whole conference was given over to this project about children developing resilient faith in every sphere of life.

I was talking to the parent of a child who is diagnosed as on the autistic spectrum a few weeks ago.

I asked her what her hopes and dreams were for him. One of the things she highlighted was “being given the opportunity to serve”.

Morning start up on the second day of camp was an activity I borrowed from the amazing ‘Flame Creative’ website.

I tweaked it a little on what we did for each card, and we only used half a pack of cards per tent.

For a King, we shouted out something amazing about God.

There’s a sad phrase I hear from teens/young adults from time to time, referring to the moment they came to faith: “I tried that and it didn’t work.”

I hear it most from those who have come to faith in the emotion of the moment, or those who haven’t been given the space...

Why a pondering platypus?

I ponder a lot, and like the platypus, my life and work don't fit easily into a standard mould.
